Yay! I finally did it! I got round to doing the second match for =AngelCrusher 's Fighting League!

Their in the Fiery Depths arena.

Dialogue:
Shenley: "Wha- Shield!"
Vanesa: "Right! And you'll stay there until you apologise for getting me dusty or your shield energy runs out!"

Vanesa doesn't like getting dusty ^^; Hope it's clear what's happening.

Vanesa: Me

very cool, and don't worry you can see clearly what's going on,the only problem though is if the shield was shaped like that, then the lava would most likely run down all of it and burn Vanessa's arm off

Ah, I see your point...though Vanesa is made of Titanium and it only melts on reaching 1668 C. Lava can reach 1200 C (at least that's what Wikipedia said...)

I think the heat might mess up her circuitry after a while though ^^;

I like the colours and light effects. Clever way to use the enviroment to your advantage. An armoured robot isn´t bothered much by heat and lava.

I spent so long thinking about how I could do this fight but I'm really happy with the way it turned out :D Exactly what I was thinking! Another idea I had for this fight was that Shenley would try dousing Vanesa with water (she does magic), thinking that she would rust. However, Titanium doesn't rust so the only effect that brings is a huge amount of steam as the water heats up. Vanesa would take advantage of this somehow ^^; That idea would have taken too long to draw however so I went with this idea.

Vanesa jumping out of the steam would look quite cool. It would look even cooler if Vanesa jumped out of the lava, with red hot armour and and lava dripping from her. I am looking forward to see her next fight.

Shenley better hope that her forcefield can hold. i like that you did your homework on the heat of lava and vanesa's melting point. Its like in this environment she would be invincible anyway.
