Warriors

Ok this will probably mean nothing to most people but I need to update this journal and this is something that happen resently.

Playing on my undead warrior and I need to go to Razor Fen Kraul so I put myself on the LookingForGroup thing and instantly get a whisper saying 'tank?' I say yes but then they ask what spec I am. I tell him I'm Arms and he asks me how then can I tank.

Now I'm not that experenced with tanking, but to be honest it was fine! I tanked! There were only two deaths and that was because the ruddy mage wasn't managing his threat level! It was so annoying! And he kept running around when he did aggro something!

Do you guys have any idea how differcult it is to get a group when your arms spec? (Saying that you probably do have an idea.) Maybe I should just respec....I know that for higher level instances I'll probably have too.

On a good note I got three nice bits of gear, four if you inclued the one from the quest I've got to hand in so I'm still happy ^^

P.S The Paladin couldn't tank :giggle: (don't know why I find that funny...)

Don't beat yourself up anyway. A tank can only be responsible for the team's safety if people don't go and aggro instead of letting you take the threat.

I used to play arms myself as Mahjinga and I dare say he was quite a good tank. You only realy need to respecc for raiding (wich is hardly worth it anyway in my humble opinion). Also arms is decent for solo and awesome for PvP. So keep your heavy two handed weapon and go out and score some massive critical hits.

Also: the paladin may not have been able to tank because he/she/it was retribution or holy?

I'll say he was retribution 'cause he was able to deal out a good amount of damage and he wasn't healing anybody.

There you go.... He could tank if the instance were a little lower level than him, but retribution pallies are generally just for dealing damage.
